    FYI - Turkish Airlines has a very interesting management. Turkish Airlines, one of the largest airline in the world, is still using three ageing A340-311s in their fleet : MSN23,25 and 57. On the other hand they have not yet placed an order for any equipments like B787s or A350s. CEO of TK said they are happy ordering more B777 and A33S. I like it. I wouldn't go and place an order for some aircraft which hasn't proved yet as a reliable aircraft for the airline economy.

                      Yes, Runway Maintanance take place every Wednesday 14:30 - 17:15.

                      As far as I'am aware, TK730 is scheduled to land in CMB every Wednesdays at 14:15 which is just 10/15 minutes before the runway maintanace starts. on the 6th Feb, TK730 was delayed unfortunately that let the flight and the pax in the tough situation where they had no-choice of diverting the flight to some local airport. As per flightstats, TK730/1 was landed back in CMB at 21:02 from MAA and departed just after 38minutes back to MLE-IST.

                      That's why we need HRI which could handle wide-bodies. It also become second runway is vital for CMB. I hate when our flights are diverted to neibouring countries like India, the maldives etc..

                              today after 5 n half months i was in BIA , seems many changes at the entry , and the scaning devices near the the entrance also been moved .... the Highway is also coming nice ... noticed MJ flight to Gaya was cancelled today .. any reason ? and also noted that previously each flight had a separate check-in before but today all UL flights checked-in together , no special counter for the flight . and UL 121 was not mentioned in the screens when the check in was done , after asking from an officer I got to knw check-in is happening otherwise i thought I made a mistake n came in a wrong time ........

                                Thanks SpookyFlyer for sharing the Amazing Rare shots from CMB! Until I saw these pictures, I didn't even know that we can take pictures from Airforce base! Can't we get a permit from Airforce guys to do a Plane Spotting at this location!
