    • AirAsia, Singapore Airlines and SriLankan Airlines are all nominated for multiple categories and will carry high hopes of walking away with a striking Inflight trophy.

With the Inflight Asia-Pacific event just two weeks away, shortlisted finalists for the Inflight Awards have been announced.

What are the changes do you think going to come next for Sri Lanka Aviation? e.g. taking 4 x A350s from Airbus, Re-opening HRI for UL flight operations?

Definitely yes! HRI would be back in operations in no time

          • You can't run an Airline or a country without money - not sure if the Chinese will help out.

The flow of money from the IMF may stop.

I imagine all investigations into Mihin and SriLankan will stop. Nobody will be held accountable.

Pradeepa Kekulawala's job is safe. You may even see Druvi Perera returning to SriLankan.

New board and CEO will be appointed in the next few weeks - perhaps Kapila will be back.

What a huge mess! Hard times ahead by the look of things.

So many true points here, and they might happen. Who knows.

Any possibility Mahinda is planning to resume Chinese flights out of HRI?

I hope they do. It’s more practical I having the Airport up and running rather than it being a “Ghost Airport”

Hopefully they can keep fees and surcharges at a minimum to attract foreign carriers and also giving some of them freedom to carry pax form HRI to CMB and vise versa

Just a fancy term for Rules. See below for an example of the document.
