      I wonder why Sri Lanka didn't adopt the same tactic like the Maldives without banning the UK tourists. Helicopter flights would've operated from CMB or HRI directly to the tourists resorts in Sri Lanka with less restrictions.

              Skyup Airlines arrived at HRI with 185 passenger. I think the aircraft must have landed at SHJ for refuelling.

                Very disappointed the passengers are not covering the mask and the mouth properly.

                According to Travel Bubble, the passengers need to stay only in the hotels and the beaches. Tourists can't have direct contact with the locals and can't go out of the restricted areas. Do you think it will work the way they planned?

                  They have limited movement during the quarantine period only. Will it work? Well, guess we have to wait and see.

                      The first group of tourists since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic arrived in Sri Lanka today. Ukrainian Airlines SkyUp landed at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Airport in Mattala with 185 tourists.

                          tech stop for refueling... likewise the SkyUp 737-800 which landed at HRI yesterday had a stop in Sharjah

                                4R-ALJ will be leaving for good tomorrow as ALK1205 to DUS from CMB. It was ferried to SIN a few days back for maintenance and returned to CMB again. Today it did it's final Engine Ground Run and now ready to leave the fleet tomorrow.
