        • Aeroflot is going to fly Colombo-Moscow route from April 1. Twice a week.

          SVO-CMB - 23:55 - 10:50+1 - A333 - THU SAT - SU0284
          CMB-SVO - 23:55 - 06:50+1 - A333 - FRI SUN - SU0285

UL also still have plans to operate Moscow. Do you think there is a demand on the route to fly both UL and SU?

SriLankan Airlines chief executive Vipula Gunatilleka is laying the groundwork for the airline's future in the post coronavirus world.

A350's are still on radar for Sri Lankan Airlines

I doubt adding A350 and additional freighters are good idea for UL. Fitsair is already freighter market and doubt there is a demand for both UL and Fitsair to operate freighter flights from Sri Lanka. UL better recover from the loss instead of adding expensive A350. please correct me if i am wrong.

do you think suing Airbus for will become successful for SriLankan Airlines? is it good idea for UL?

Monetary wise may not be a good idea. But would love to see the A350s wearing the Sri Lankan livery.

According to planspotters.net 3 of the A350-900 not taken up by UL is already flying for Sichuan Airlines.
                    MSN 052- B-304U (4R-XWA)
                    MSN 055- B-304V (4R-XWB)
                    MSN 060- B-301D (4R-XWC)

In my opinion adding a freighter to the UL fleet is sketchy, but bringing back the XWBs to the fleet would be a healthy option. UL could convert the A332s (4R- ALA,ALB &ALH) to P2F instead of bringing a dedicated freighter and replace them with 350s. UL could cater the XWBs for the EU and Australian markets better than the A333s. Everything is going to depend on the demand post- COVID.

350 is a modern very cost efficient air craft and adding 350s to UL fleet will be an advantage in long run.If 350 is too big then 330 neo 800 or 900 will be an alternative option.330 neo is not that a popular aircraft among even small carriers.

According to Skyliners, it's an Airbus A320-231 (msn 429) on delivery to HRI.

Hi Skyliner, Do you know the reason for the visit to HRI?

Maybe it’s another A320 for FitsAir as they are expecting a second aircraft
