I think you are talking of flight MJ1107/8. If yes , It is a Codeshare Flight Schedule as actual flight is operated by SriLankan Airlines UL107/8. Mihin Lanka does not fly to Male' anymore.

Cathay Pacific sees Sri Lanka as a growth market

Hong-Kong based Cathay Pacific Airline has been operating in Sri Lanka since 1993 and continued to remain in the country.

As of now, it operates seven flights from Colombo to Hong Kong every week via Singapore and Bangkok.

Cathay operates daily passenger flights from Colombo with B777-300 aircraft in a 2 class configuration.

The airlines Country Manager for Sri Lanka, Edward Coles, joining for an interview with News360.lk said, Cathay as of now deploys its largest capacity aircraft on the Colombo route.

He said, as the country’s tourism industry is showing growth prospects, the Airline will continue to add destinations to the network, increasing access to the Island through its Hong Kong hub.

Thai AirAsia to Colombo

AirAsia, the World’s best Low-Cost Airline, celebrates their inaugural flights from Colombo to Bangkok yesterday.

On the other hand, Bangkok’s temples, colorful night life, and mouth-watering cuisine is now within everyone’s reach and budget, thanks to AirAsia’s daily flights. The 180-seat Airbus A320 has leather seats and a variety of in-flight meals to choose from.

Air Asia sees Sri Lankan Venture Profitable

Air Asia’s Sri Lankan venture has been profitable according to its CEO Tassapn Bijeveld and is looking at increased advance bookings to reach 80 percent and he was confident that the figure would increase further.

"The advance booking patterns for our new flight indicated a load factor of 76 percent and we are confident that it would reach 80 percent within the next few weeks. We want to keep our operational costs down and give the lowest fares to the customer," he said speaking to The Island Financial Review.

"We have had a very profitable venture in Sri Lanka since we began operations four years ago. Sri Lanka and Thailand being predominantly two Buddhist countries there is so much potential in the religious tourism market and we are working on that," Bijleveld said.

"Our General Sales Agents Setmil Aviation Limited has done a tremendous job in promoting the airline and our sales in Sri Lanka have improved remarkably due to their efforts," Bijleveld said.

Sri Lankan Airlines will add Melbourne to its portfolio shortly thereby increasing the number of destinations to 63, Aviation Services Minister, Priyankara Jayaratne said.

Minister Jayaratne said that the Government had taken a policy decision not to import any second hand aircraft for Sri Lankan Airlines in the future as it was economic in the long run to purchase brand new aircraft on soft lease. Then one need not have spent on major repairs for around six years to a decade.

i VOTED 4 options , Mel , Seoul , KTM , Nairobi .... we have enough Indian connections now lets try to bring out some crowd from the other end of the world , though many indians come to sl there is not much effect on us , these people are same as mine low budget ..... so lets try to get some more $ from other destinations , Make a Journey to China stop over at KTM . India doesnt allow us to do CMB - DEL - KTM bcz DEL - KTM is a fully packed flight and they dnt want to share the income between us , but also KTM - PEK is a fully packed destination i knw it well coz i have been there so we can try that
