They used to fly to Colombo; don't know why they stopped though.

I'm thinking in the future they would. No announcements have been made yet.

Both of these airlines are operating from same terminal will faciliate the pax with a faster flight connections. Any idea which airlines are going to use the brand-new SIN-T4 in 2017 ? or Is it going to be used by only SQ ?

Scoot launched TPE on 18-Sep-12. Heard Scoot has plans to extend TPE service to NRT with daily flights on 29-Oct-12. Can you confirm if this is a correct news ?

                    • if you want to follow the "asian creativity" (like Singapore Budget Terminal -> Budget Terminal, KL LCC Terminal -> LCCT..)

I vote for AC Leisure Airline

Reservation for NRT is already open but the schedule not yet updated on Scoot Website, which is incorrectly showing that the flight to TPE will be laid there for 10 hours in W12. Quite surprising how Scoot managed to get the slot at NRT ? I think AirAsia X is flying to HND in Tokyo.

Scoot's competitor AirAsia X is continously struggling to maintain the middle east routes, will have to operate the last flight to IKA on 14-Oct-12. AirAsia X is planning to concentrate only on Asia-Pacific routes. Perhaps their previous plans on flying to JED and IST will be shelved for a while.

Just I read from the news-website, Singapore is going to call it's Budget Terminal as Terminal 4 from 2017. New Terminal (T4 for Budget Airlines) has no aerobridges but the terminal will be designed to enable efficient passenger processing and quick turnaround of aircraft.

T4 will be a major upgrade from the current BT, i.e. imagine a full fledged airport, minus Aero bridges .. rumor has it that T4 will be mainly geared towards handling Scoot sized aircraft, a big jump from the Old BT whose pans were sized for A-320s and ATR Turbo Props.
