PK-LJM, Lion Air's 737-900 ER (damn, they are so long, vs 737-300/400 .. and need a tail bumper, not that it matters as the Indonesian pilots slam them anyway ... )

Wow great shots. That must be a long take off run for that A345 bound for Newark. Back in 2007, I flew nonstop from JFK-BKK aboard Thai's A345, and that was an incredibly long takeoff run understandably. KLM's 773 is gorgeous!

sfernando34: the only time I saw the A345 take off, they did a long run, and I believe it is to do with the reduced thrust take off .. lest they spend more fuel to carry the fuel

I remember PK complaining that half the fuel spent for the first half of the flight is to carry the fuel being transported

The times i head to Changi, nowadays, I get too lucky, the planes depart on the side i am watching .. the depart on on 20R/02C: if is the other way around, it would be much closer, when they come in for landing.

Scenes from National Day, Singapore ..

I was like 9 KM from the parade grounds when I heard the F15SGs whiz by, and could only snap the AH 64 and the CH 47SD

                          Here they are ..

                          AH 64 D of RSAF

CH-47SD of RSAF, on the way back after Flag Flying duties ..

This almost flew over me .. hence the closer snaps ..

And a simple show off, of a 30X optical zoom

Wide Angle, with no zoom (the kite is in the hexagon)

With the 25X Optical Zoom ..

PS: Just saw this .. the Brunei Sultan nowadays is seen in the LEFT Seat of a BI 340-200, when doing regional visits ..

The 747-400 is still in their roster, post D Check of recent times ..
