Wow great shots. That must be a long take off run for that A345 bound for Newark. Back in 2007, I flew nonstop from JFK-BKK aboard Thai's A345, and that was an incredibly long takeoff run understandably. KLM's 773 is gorgeous!Originally posted by ecureilxKLMs, 773W, sorry, couldn't get the Reg

The Subang Express ATR 72, banking hard, after take off ..

PK-LJM, Lion Air's 737-900 ER (damn, they are so long, vs 737-300/400 .. and need a tail bumper, not that it matters as the Indonesian pilots slam them anyway ... )

sfernando34: the only time I saw the A345 take off, they did a long run, and I believe it is to do with the reduced thrust take off .. lest they spend more fuel to carry the fuel
I remember PK complaining that half the fuel spent for the first half of the flight is to carry the fuel being transported
The times i head to Changi, nowadays, I get too lucky, the planes depart on the side i am watching .. the depart on on 20R/02C: if is the other way around, it would be much closer, when they come in for landing.Comment
