Perhaps this special livery for celebrating Singapore 50th anniversary? What do you think of this livery? I liked it though

Rumour has it that it is 9V-SKI

That SG50 Logo is the "OFFICIAL" Logo for the 50the anniversary of Singapore's "Independence" - which is actually the separation from Malaysia, in 1965

The Official Logo is at https://www.singapore50.sg/

This being Singapore, the highly paid and efficient Civil Servants have standardised the Logo for the celebration. And like for "BRAND SINGAPORE" they have issued Brand usage guidelines, for the SG 50

        And sort of related

During the recent fireworks demo for the SEA Games, there was a Super Puma on Orbit, and later it turns out, it was positioned to take down any drones that may fly into the fireworks

Singapore Airlines (SIA) is celebrating the nation's Golden Jubilee by having two Airbus 380s in a special livery, featuring a large Singapore flag-themed design on the fuselage.

The first aircraft with the commemorative livery will take to the skies in early June and the second in July.

The A380s will be in the livery until the end of 2015, with the aircraft serving Beijing, Hong Kong, London, Mumbai, New Delhi, Shanghai, Sydney and Zurich routes.

May be true! 9V-SKI came out from the hangar on the 25/5/2015 and flew SIN-SIN test flight on the 29/5/2015. Any idea about the registration of the second A380 going to get the SG50 special livery?

Above news says these A380 with special livery will operate DEL and BOM. But I thought India doesn't allow to A380s to arrive in the country? Is it a first ever A380 to wear a special livery?

The rego of the other A380 is 9V-SKJ.

India lifted ban on A380 couple months ago. EK and SQ both operate A380 to BOM

Its actually been exactly a year now!
LH has been trying time and again to send A380s on the FRA-BOM-FRA sector, but it clashes with the EK flight I believe. Mumbai only has one code F gate at the moment.

@ dilushasg-bdavi, great pics! Where did you take them from?
The helicopters have been doing the rounds over the main CMB city off recent, perfect distraction from my studies
