MNL : QR 320, which was being followed by a QR 773W, landing within 20 minutes of each other
May i know why QR is sending A320 to MNL?

It looks like this is A300 by the look of the longer fuselage.
Air HK operates five weekly flights to MNL . All these Air HK flights arrive in MNL in the morning around 6am and depart from MNL in the evening 11pm. Do you know why Air HK keep the aircraft in MNL for over 16 hours?
Very nice pics!

I couldn't ID the reg, maybe a 300.
Well, maybe it's cheaper to park in Manila ?
Or to time with the time sensitive shipments, like fresh flowers and such ? It is at the Cargo bay area of T1 so not much can be seen as to the activity.
After Fedex moved out of Subic, or was literally kicked out since they started employing hundreds and hundreds of locals and also was planning to move their repair base out of SG to Subic, the others like DHL are very disinterested in boosting too much traffic to PH.
The local laws in PH are very much anti foreign investor, and includes clauses like 60% must be owned by a filipino.
And foreign companies can't invest / operate Utilities - and guess what ? DHL, Fedex and such have been classified as utilities. One of the few countries where the leftists/communists try everything to keep foreign investors out - so the oligarchs etc can thrive without fear of competition
I thought it could be a VIP flight, before I noticed the 320 pulling up at a gate of T1, and then, as I said, it was followed by a QR 773W as well, going to T1 as well.
The 773W landed within 20 minutes of the 320.
Maybe delayed flights arriving almost next to each other ?
Need to see the scheduling of QR. I only saw 773W and 330-300s in their DOH-MNL schedule. Unless they sub'd a 320, as the day I was leaving was a weekday.
For a 320 to do DOH / MNL, should be about 8 hours non-stop.
Malindo Air has begun daily flights on 18 December. Does any body know the rego of the aircraft operated the maiden flight? any pics of Malindo B737 from Colombo?
Here are some pics from my day at CMB on 28/06/2015.
Sorry for the very bad quality. Very bad weather was the main cause of this. But still some nice traffic.
