    Maldivian Airlines Dash 8 arrived at BIA

    A Maldivian Airlines Dash 8 aircraft arrived at BIA as a charter operation to carry back 18 seamen. With the assistance of the SL navy they were directly transferred to their respective ship.

    The outbound flight, Q26941 carried back passengers and cargo to Maldives. This whole operation was carried out by Nawaloka Air Services which is the Sri Lankan GSA for Maldivian Airlines.

    Maldivian has become regular visitor to Colombo Airport. Below charter flight was operated today (28-Oct).

            It was s cargo flight... We had 2 instances of EK to HRI.

                        It should be a cargo flight because until further notice passengers not allowed to enter srilankan only allowed to transfer via cmb

                            FlyMe already started flights to CMB. I remember seeing photos of it officially launching the CMB-MLE route.

                                            ​​​​​​Nope. It came many times now. I think this was parked here ever since or it left and came again. HiFly is the operator.

                                                            They use to in the past... KHI-CMB with A310.. and also in the 1980s.. flew KHI-CMB-SIN
