        Amazing!

        Hope you had a safe flight to AKL, how was the terminal experience at HKG? planning on transferring from CMB-HKG-ICN next year. Was it crowded? was check in easy?

                        Hey Banu, flight was good flown ABM few times. Last was pre covid. I think the seats were changed compared to back then. I might be wrong. IFE safety tips that plays during flight path still has A340 shots.

                        Captain so called ****De Silva was a bit self decided person instead of team work. In his pax announcement he was using "I" all the time instead of "we"... I will be deciding if we need to change altitude, I will be deciding if going to an alternative airport if there is long hold.... I was not happy with him.

                        It was a night departure so Airport was deserted when we were taxiing. Just EK was at the gate.

                            HKG was really good. I had 3 day transit. So I went through immigration and customs. Don't forget to visit sky deck and sky bridge on T1 between gates 10 to 30. Awesome place Airport for plane Spotting. Airport was crowded but each and every gate is on the open area so you can literally go to the gate door. Facial recognition will allow you to board the aircraft instead of the boarding pass.

                                    Maybe charter or one off flight, would be great to see 747s at CMB again if it's a regular flight, Only Terra Avia operates its 747s here with a few exceptions here and there, this being one of them.

                                        VT-GHI is still on ground at CMB, maybe its a technical issue of some sorts? or maybe a sick passenger. No clue but will update

                                        Update: VT-GHI lining up for take off to TRZ after a delay of almost three hours

                                            ER-BAR is descending above CMB. It's doing return leg NBO-JOH-CMB as FP6984. Wondering what is the final destination?

                                                EK B772LR is on its way to CMB as EK648. Usually EK use B773ER on the CMB route. Really surprising move! Notsure what made EK to use B772LR this time. Any idea?

                                                    HiFly Malta A343 has been flying via CMB since last week. Rego : 9H-TQY. Could this be refuelling stop?
                                                    By looking at below info, 9H-TQY was positioned from BYJ to PER via CMB on the 04/5 Nov. Operated may be charter from PER-SSH via CMB vv on the 06/7/9 Nov. Now I see 9H-EQY departed from PER and on its way to CMB. I believe it's being positioned to BYJ via CMB. Please correct me if i am wrong.

                                                    From my understanding "P" in flight number indicates "Positioning flight".

                                                            Completed some upgradation work at Ceylon Aeronautical Services, Koggala. Now at VCCC for refueling to head back to Bangalore.
