Thanks Azamh for sharing the amazing pictures from HKG!
It looks like a massive expansion work going on at present for HKG's third runway and additional terminals! I am curious to know more about it.

Hi ecureilx, Any Updates about expansion of SIN ?Comment

SIN? Well, while work on T4 has started, realising the limitation of two runways, there are plans to merge Runway 3, currently an AF Runway, is being mooted as the third runway .. and that it has more than enough spatial seperation is a selling point
From Wiki
02L/20R 4,000 13,123 Asphalt
02C/20C 4,000 13,123 Asphalt (original 02R/20L)
02R/20L 2,750 9,022 Asphalt -> Current Changi Air Base East
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Changi_Air_Base_%28East%29 and same link says "In the future, the runway will be extended for the expansion of Singapore Changi Airport"
You never know when the Air Base will become part of SIN and a new runway will be coming up some where, in reclaimed Land
Trivia: for those who don't know, Since Independence, Singapore has grown by 10% by reclamation .. and the land where Changi is, where Marina Bay Sands / Garden by the bay, Cruise Center etc. etc. is, Jurong Island is, and Tuas South is, all are reclaimed, and didn't exist pre-1960sComment

Air New Zealand has returned ZK-NGE to the lessor on 22-25 June 2013. This bird flew from Christ Church to Shannon via Cairns, Denpaser, Colombo, Al Ain and it also has another stop not sure where. @umedhah - I think Air New Zealand going replace B737 fleet with A320s, if I am not mistaken.

You are spot on. These 737-300 air crafts are now aged excess of 20 yrs old. For international short haul and domestic trunk routes, ANZ will start using A320s. For long haul, it will be 777 and the 787 as the old 747s and the 767s will be phased outComment
