An Australian firm is scanning for natural resources in Sri Lanka from the skies of Central Province, reports say.
The firm - Bora Bora resources, is said to be using a helicopter to conduct an ariel research on graphite deposits in the Matale area, reports add.
It is said that this firm already possesses several permits to excavate for graphite in Sri Lanka.
Using a helicopter of Senok Aviation for their ariel research, they are reportedly collecting data of a 1,587 sq. km area between Matale and Paragoda North.
It is said that that the much famed Kahatagaha and Kolongahala graphite deposits are situated within this area. These graphite deposits are being excavated since the 19th century.
Last July, this Australian firm has obtained a permit to excavate graphite in a 167 sq. km area within the areas of Baduraliya, Neluwa and Paragoda, sources say.

Looks like a classical EMB 135/145 nose to me
PS: re: The Senok Seismic survey, looks more like a survey for Copper/minerals, than graphite ..Comment
