Is Mihin reducing its frequency to IXM from Summer 14?

Currently it operates 4x weekly (Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun)
It shows only 2x (Mon, Wed) in April and May and 3x (Mon, Wed, Sun) from June.

Where did you get this info? Mihin Lanka website shows Madurai flights operates four weekly though out the summer. Btw Mihin Lanka increasing Seychelles flights from two to three weekly effect April 2014.

Yeah you're correct. UL has cancelled the flights between HRI-PEK, PVG-HRI and HRI-MLE. So following SriLankan flights are operating out of HRI. FlyDubai does daily DXB-CMB-HRI-DXB with B737.

12:30 - 13:10 - UL133 - A320 - 1 3 5 7 (CMB-HRI-TRZ-CMB)
09:50 - 10:30 - UL319 - A320 - 4 (CMB-KUL-HRI-CMB)
16:40 - 17:20 - UL128 - A320 - 2 6 (CMB-MAA-HRI-CMB)

Its schedule page shows 4x. But booking is not available for Fridays and Sundays in April and May. From June, only Fridays not available.

Sri Lanka’s national carrier SriLankan Airlines now wants to raise US$ 175 million (or more than Rs. 22.7 billion) through an international bond issue to make pre-delivery payments to Airbus Industrie for the ten new aircraft it wants to procure. Whilst seeking approval for this bond issue, Civil Aviation Minister Priyankara Jayaratne has also asked the Cabinet of Ministers to request the Treasury to provide a sovereign guarantee for US$ 50 million (or over Rs 6.5 billion).That is to the Standard Chartered Bank, the lead bank that is raising a US$ 150 million syndicate loan.

From that syndicate loan, SriLankan Airlines wants to repay US$ 130 million that is now due to the Dubai-based Mashreq Bank on a loan of US$ 175 million obtained in 2012...

Saudia increased Colombo flights from four to five weekly. SriLankan operates four weekly to Dammam, Five weekly to Riyadh and four weekly to Jeddah, in Saudi Arabia.
