The mentioned numbers are wrong as for as A320 (4R-MRE) is concerned. Traveled in the same on IXM-CMB 3rd Sep. The worst aircraft i have ever flew. None of the seat is covered properly with covers. All the seats shows the wooden work inside.

And business class...... Thats a big joke. No reconfig. They just covered the middle seats of first 3 rows with a large arm rest. The other two seats became business class.

Did the same flight on 3rd Sep. Pushed back after 50 min from schedule due to weather. That was a rainy day. The aircraft was very nice including IFE, but not many choices in movies. Food was very good. Crews were effective. Flight was full.

Banu, according to todays news they are trying to negotiate with ALC to swap the leases over to Airbus aircraft:

Mihin Lanka is negotiating with a US aircraft leasing company to cancel orders for two Boeing 737-800 aircraft for which contracts have already been signed,

IMHO this will be a very costly mistake for MJ. Shame it took new management to realise this. Anyone know if they are trying to swap them for A32S CEOs or NEOs?

Makes so much sense... UL has not been a Boeing Operator since they got rid of B737/B747.. except for when they had B767 on wetlease in 2013 when some of the Airbuses were under maintenance

                  UL's B767 was operating July 2010 to September 2010. What happened to Mihin's wet-leased ex-transavia B738 in 2009?

It will be better if Mihin Lanka stick with airbus aircraft. Do you think lessor will swap the deal from Boeing to Airbus for Mihin Lanka.

Mihin Lanka re-launches new website. www.mihinlanka.com

According to Flight Sked at airport.lk, UL's Second A321 coming into operation on the 21st September 2014.

Mihin didn't pay so everything was cancelled. I don't remember if the aircraft even made it to CMB - I don't think it did a single flight for Mihin.
Always fly a stable approach - it's the only stability you'll find this business

JNB in Africa & I think UL operating enough destinations in China so it's better if they can increase the frequencies according to demand instead of adding new destinations.
