The 4R-ALR was on the ground for 48 days. Why does it take so long to repair the aircraft? more looses for Sri Lanka. QR's A333 has faced the similar incident but the aircraft was put into service on the following day. It just shows how inefficient management we have in Sri Lanka.

May be the delivery of 4R-ANF to SriLankan is next month. I am wondering why 4R-ABL is not flying for few weeks. Is 4R-ANF going to replace 4R-ABL in the SriLankan Fleet ? In the below picture you can see 4R-ABL is parked inside the hangar.

They had an ATR 42 in the past and operated for TransAsia Airways in Taiwan however TransAsia is defunct now and the ATR 42 is now not in the possession of FitsAir which is why they leased this ATR 72According to reliable sources, FitsAir have an ATR72 in the fleet. So far I do not know the status of the aircraft if it’s in storage at RML or CMB or if it is subleased
However I do think that they would utilize it for Domestic Routes in the near future- Aaqib Hussain

MSN of the ATR72 owned by FitsAir is MSN373. As per planespotter.net, it was operated for Indonesian airline under registration PK-TNL and status of the aircraft is now "stored". As per CAA, the aircraft was last delivered to FitsAir from the lessee in Nov 2017. I was reading from the news FitsAir is keen to operate domestic flight with seating capacity upto 118 seats. It would be better if its been used on domestic flights & short haul routes e.g Gan, Mangalore, Pondicherry etcThey had an ATR 42 in the past and operated for TransAsia Airways in Taiwan however TransAsia is defunct now and the ATR 42 is now not in the possession of FitsAir which is why they leased this ATR 72
