I think P2F conversion is more suitable for ALH & ALS since the expiry of lease for ALH is 2026. Spending money on P2F conversion for ALA, ALB, ALC may not be suitable since lease is ending in just next 3 years time. Please correct me if i am wrong.

In below annual report say, "Undertake to lease one A330-200 aircraft in 2017 (Lease term 10 Years". Is it referring to ALS ?
I wonder which MJ A320 was leased for 25 Months in Nov16. Is it MRE? In that case , MRE must have been left the UL fleet end of 2018

After posting, I did some digging and came out with this. Looks like they all are waiting for the AOC (which can take good 6 7 months) and thanks to COVID-19 might take some more time.

I can't see any progress in Applications of Fly Lankan Asia and Spark Air. Applications are in the same stage like last month.

Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) launches charter flights from Kyiv to Sri Lanka. This was reported on the airline's website.

Flights will be operated from December 28, 2020 to March 10, 2021. The planes will fly from Boryspil airport to Mattala airport.

Yea the lease terms of ALS should end in ~2027 and ALH in ~2028 according to that report. And i think they are referring to MRD/MRE for the a320 & a321. MRD left in ~2018 which is correct but they must have extended MRE even further afterwards ?

None of these flights are on the airline website. May be because it's a charter flight?

Its definitely good news HRI attracting charter flights. It would be better if Helicopter services based at HRI to transport the tourists to various holiday places in Sri Lanka to save the time of the tourists since road transport takes time. i would like to know what you guys think of this idea?

Dec 20, Colombo: Overseas Sri Lankans, who were stranded in foreign countries due to COVID-19, arriving in Sri Lanka after the 26th December will be able to enter the country obtaining clearance from the Sri Lankan Foreign Ministry, Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAASL) Upul Dharmadasa has said.

Earlier, the Sri Lankan nationals were required to obtain permission from the Foreign Ministry before repatriation.

However, all arriving passengers will be subjected to PCR tests, the CAASL Chairman said.

Sri Lanka will resume international flights operations from December 26, eight months after they were closed in view of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Following the reopening of the airport, a group of Russians will arrive in Sri Lanka as the first group of tourists.

CAASL Chairman Upul Dharmadasa said the group was granted permission at the request of the Russian Federation.

Accordingly, about 200 tourists are scheduled to arrive at the Katunayake and Mattala international airports on the 26th.

When tourists arrive in the island, they are subjected to PCR testing at the airport and steps have already been taken to provide them with the necessary accommodation and transport facilities, the official said.

The Chairman said the airport has the facility to perform around 3,500 PCR tests in a day and the number of passengers arriving in the country is limited to a maximum of 3,500 per day.

4R-ALJ leaves the fleet as she flies to Singapore as UL 308 today. As per the schedule, she will continue to Dusseldorf (DUS) as UL 1205 on Thursday.(Subject to change)
Why the ferry flight is making a stop at SIN instead of a direct CMB-DUS flight is unknown. Please share any further information.

UL 308 a usual UL code... So my guess is that ferry pilots may take over the aircraft from SIN?
