(4R-ADE/F both feature the new product offering of UL, with AVOD in both cabin classes)

Besides all this, the UL websites fleet is up to date with a new display of their fleet info which consists of a/c registrations and the interior available.

Thank you so much indeed 4R-ALA, you have been of enormous help and I really appreciate it!

Yes, I wasn't entirely sure whether 4R-ALD had AVOD but thanks for confirming, while it did seem that ALH and ALJ have it. Such a shame only two out of seven A330-200s have AVOD in Economy, I wonder if you know whether there are still plans/timetables to retrofit the rest of the fleet in Economy? I know the new A330-300s are arriving soon but I guess the A330-200s aren't retiring anytime soon?

Good to know that UL's website is actually up to date and accurate too (given how they've mixed up photos between the A320 and A330 there...)

    Thanks once again!

Sorry I don't actually know that lot either haha, I have mostly been reading about it from fly**talk which has a dedicated thread on UL's A330/A340 business class configurations, although I think a few comments are already out of date.

I think SriLankan's all of the A332s should get cabin upgrade in business class and economy class because A332 willl stay in the fleet for next four years. Most probably these A332s will serve the medium-hauls after A333s arrived.

Any updates on nonstop service between Hong Kong and Colombo by Cathay Pacific and SriLankan ?

I think FlySmiLes' logo is a bit clunky and needs to be refreshed to bring it up to par, and I had an idea.

              What do you guys think?

Unlike the good old days now Sri Lankans need visas for HKG. This may have been a factor in reduction of leisure travelers. These days everyone goes to SIN as they get visa on arrival.

Yours is way better than to '80s design they currently have, but I think you need to use the same font as "SriLankan Airlines".

Thanks for the link. Did not know UL has a quasi-first class on one of the A343s.

Yeah that's what I think, but I don't know how to get their font. If they pick it up, they should definitely use it.

Actually as per Cayman's advice, I was able to find the SriLankan font, and updated the FlySmiles Logo.

                        Looks good I think!

There are some development in SriLankan which is now flying nonstop flights to cities like Moscow, Beijing and Shanghai. I'm quite sure they are looking at possibilities to start nonstop flight to Hong Kong. But i think they dont have enough aircraft to make this move. I dont think CX interested in providing nonstop flights on HKG-CMB route. but CX have daily flights to CMB though , 3W via BKK 4W via SIN.

Yes, it looks really good. You may want to revisit the color scheme though

If you have time why not send your logo to UL's marketing department? You will probably have the explain to them how you arrived at the logo though, as they do not seem to understand advertising very well.

CX appears to be banking on Fifth Freedom traffic between BKK-CMB and SIN-CMB as there is not enough O&D demand between CMB and HKG.

However, I agree with UL's strategy on increasing direct flights as tag alongs do not work very well in the current market.
