I'm new to this forum. My understanding was that delays are increasingly being experienced in many other sectors as well. Isn't that so?Comment

Anyone have an update on the arrival date of the new A333 or if the report re the VVIP cabin is true? If true, it would be an utter waste of money to fly around an empty VVIP cabin on most flights. Wouldn't be surprised if it was misreported and they are for example, converting an A340 to VVIP config (or converting one of UL's 320s into VVIP config and replacing it with a 321).
On a side note does anyone have access to the following site:

Anyone knows the status of SriLankan Airlines A330-200 4R-ALD, haven't seen it flying for quite some time. Is it getting new business class configuration and is it because of one missing aircraft not operating causing all the delays this week. My friend has flights from Colombo to Rome, and flight had over 5 hours delay both on Thursday and Saturday. What is with all the delays happening?Comment

heard that the VVIP kit might have been given on a complimentary basis by Airbus. And it can be installed and taken off when necessary. This is what I meant earlier. Many sectors are experiencing it and it's not necessarily connected with VVIP movements.
But it's true that on most of the dates mentioned here there were VVIP movements...Comment
