Thanks bro! SV will be operating last B747-400 on revenue flight to CMB on the 28-Mar-2016. Thereafter SV will be operating CMB flights onboard B777-200/200ER.

As you see above SV's RUH flights going to be operated 2 weekly via MLE. I think UL better increase the frequencies to RUH and it's the only airline operate nonstop between RUH and CMB. Currently UL have 5 weekly to RUH and JED and 4 weekly to DMM in Saudi Arabia.Comment

Both arrival times are scheduled times of the flights. But FZ8557 flight is operating ONLY ON THIS WEEK except Wednesday (Confirmed by FZ website). Maybe FlyDubai has increased frequency of the DXB-CMB route as for passenger demand?Comment

Perhaps FZ is operating extra flights for the peak travel season in December-January. I also noticed that G9 is operating extra flights in Jan as below

Incident: SriLankan A333 at Colombo on Jan 7th 2016, flat tyre on landing
A SriLankan Airlines Airbus A330-300, registration 4R-ALO performing flight UL-455 from Tokyo Narita (Japan) to Colombo (Sri Lanka), landed safely in Colombo following an uneventful flight when during roll out the aircraft was slowed sharply and stopped near the end of the runway, emerency services responded. Later the aircraft slowly taxied to a remote stand on the apron where passengers disembarked.

Dias said that he believes that the aircraft deployed to these sectors are 'too big' "We will review this factor as well."
He said that all new aircraft have now been delivered to the airline and they are now looking at consolidation. "These will be a saving to the airline with less fuel costs. However 'price wars' among the airlines will not allow us to get the full financial advantage from the fuel savings."

Rodent on board forces Mihin to delay flight
A Mihin Lanka flight bound for Maduri, India encountered a snag on Saturday when a passenger on board the flight found a rodent, official sources told the Sunday Observer.
A rodent was found shortly before take-off on 7:30am on Saturday morning. All passengers had to disembark until flight MJ 307 was cleared for take-off again. The flight departed at 1:12pm, more than five hours after its scheduled take-off time.

Don't expect anything from people who have no airline experience and hold their position due to their political connections.
All these people do is talk - because that's all they can do. Ajith Dias is just another NATO member imho.
I've explained how things work at the office and the toxic dysfunctional culture that exists. Until that is tackled this Airline will continue to run massive losses and continue to be run into the ground.
How many of these people could hold the same position anywhere else? Almost none of them.Always fly a stable approach - it's the only stability you'll find this businessComment

Al Baker arrived in Colombo on Thursday on a scheduled Qatar Airways flight. As a two-day seminar on investment promotion got under way, he held talks with Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe on investment opportunities in Sri Lanka.
At the Bandaranaike International Airport, after he was greeted, he asked one of those present why they had a US-built Chrysler waiting for him. He said he would have preferred to travel in a German BMW or a Mercedes Benz.
Oman-born Baker, a reputed businessman, also chairs a number of other companies and holds a private pilot’s licence. Though a few privy to the talks denied any formal talks on Mr. Baker’s most successful expertise — that of running an airline — and declined comment, one source whispers that the subject (of running an airline) did figure informally.
The man who does not mince his words, this source said, prescribed some bitter medicine if the national carrier, which is fast bleeding the national coffers, was to be revived. It seems the locals are finding such medicine difficult to swallow.
I wonder what was the medicine...it is definitely not the Jet Fuel
