        Completely meaningless imho.

There is no way out for SriLankan - everyone is just waiting for the money to run out.

Cathay Pacific is going to use recently re-configured 4-class 777-300ER (F6J53W34Y201) to Colombo every one weekly in Jan 2019. Remaining 6 weekly flights would be served by standard B777-300.

It seems new domestic airline starts in Sri Lanka in next 5 days. It is Serendib Airways. Am I correct the same company was operating long time ago and got merged with Cosmos Aviation?

Etihad Cargo is going to continue operating twice weekly B777 freighter on Abu Dhabi > Colombo > Milan > Columbus Ohio route.

Thai Airways is going to operate 5 of 7 weekly flights to Colombo onboard B777-200 ER & Remaining two weekly onboard A330-300 in W18. Currently Thai Airways is flying 7 weekly A330-300 to Colombo.

ALN is going through a C check and it might be out by today it seems. If it’s in the hangar I’ll try to get some pictures.

                        More Racketeering exposed.

Obviously this is well organised. Those involved are obviously being protected.

This needs to be fully investigated.

The controversial outgoing SriLankan airlines CEO, Suren Ratwatte had sent a note to the new Board, weeks after he was forced to resign. In the note, Captain Ratwatte reviews his turbulent period as CEO and the options the airline has in the future, which according to him are very bleak. During his tenure, members of [...]

Domestic Airlines Set to Commence Operations soon

Two Domestic Carriers are set to begin Domestic Operations

Serendib Airways is set to begin in 6 Days from now and I presume that they'd be using a Cessna Grand Caravan

The second being FlyCeylon (a subsidiary of IWS Holdings) who are also set to launch soon
From their website, it looks probable that they'd operate on Bombardier Q300/Q400 aircraft.
                            They've also begun recruiting
