New direct flight from Armenia to Sri Lanka

For the first time there will be direct flights from Armenia to Sri Lanka. The organizer of the flights is the Armenian Sky&More company. Colombo-Yerevan-Colombo flights will be operated from October 20 once every 9 days.

Previously, it was possible to reach Sri Lanka exclusively by transit, within 14 hours. Direct regular flights will allow to reach Colombo in 7 hours and 50 minutes. direct flight times are adjusted to make the tour package more competitive, taking into account hotel check-in and check-out times. The presentation organized by Sky&More was personally attended by FITS AIR General Director Ammar Kasim, Aitken Spence Travel Executive Director Nalin Jayasundera.

The main focus of the Sky&More company is the implementation of new charter flights. It is important to organize author group tours, which will be different from the tourist options of the market.

Colombo to Yerevan- 10:00 - 16:20 - 8D246 - 7:50hrs
Yerevan to Colombo - 05:30 - 15:00 - 8D245 - 8hrs

I believe CMB to EVN flight is going to operate via DWC. Please correct if i am wrong.

FitsAir’s inaugural charter flight from Armenia!

FitsAir's first charter flight from Yerevan, Armenia to Sri Lanka arrived today with a group of 150 tourists.

LOT Polish Airlines flight LO6283 arrived today in CMB with 252 tourists from Praque. Does anyone know its arrival , departure times and frequency of flights?I heard Hungary is also going to begin direct flights to Colombo from Dec 2023. which airline is going to fly?

For the first time, a direct flight from Kazan to the island of Sri Lanka from Oct 31 until Mar 2024. Operating airline : Redwings B777.

Tuesdays - Kazan - Mattala 23:00 - 09:15 the next day;

Wednesdays - Mattala - Kazan - 15:15 - 21:00.

Saturdays - Kazan - Mattala - 21:10 - 07:25 the next day;

Sundays - Mattala - Kazan - 13:25 - 19:10.

There was a severe delay for SriLankan flights yesterday. I wonder why ALQ out of service? I can see ABM back in service since yesterday.

Turkish Airlines launches nonstop flights to Colombo

The first nonstop flight of Turkish Airlines from Istanbul to Colombo arrived at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) with 261 passengers. Accordingly, four weekly flights will operate between the two countries.

LOT Polish Airlines operates these direct charter flights every Tuesday starting from 24 October 2023 until 26 March 2024 with Boeing 787 Dreamliners configured for 251 passengers.
