            1) Nope, it'll remain in the RB interior. It already has IFE too.
            2) Again, no.. ABL is under maintenance, will fly soon. Engines are being worked on atm.

            Yes, hopefully.

Yes, it will. Even a city name will be given to it as I know of.
Will keep the forum updated in due course, as there's a few more aircraft to join the fleet in the coming weeks.

              SriLankan boosts fleet with A320

ECONOMYNEXT – State-run SriLankan Airlines said it had taken delivery of a leased Airbus A320 which will boost the fleet to 22.

The A320 4R – ABS will be deployed on a flight to Maldives on December 29 after livery is fitted.

SriLankan now has 12 narrow-body aircraft and 10 wide-body aircraft.

The company said 3 other aircraft are expected to be flying by January 2024, with the addition of a wet leased A330 and the arrival of 2 more engines. Another aircraft is to arrive in March.

ā€œThe aircraft is notably equipped with Sharklet wingtips that reduce drag and increase fuel efficiency. It will be primarily deployed on the airline’s short and medium-haul routes covering the Indian subcontinent, the Far East, and the Middle East. With a configuration of 12 Business Class seats and 138 Economy Class seats, 4R – ABS will allow SriLankan to increase its seat capacity on these routes.ā€

The government is selling majority stakes in the firm. The deadline to submit expressions of interest for SriLankan Airlines was extended to January09, 2024 from December 5. (Colombo/Dec22/2023)

SriLankan Airlines leased an Airbus A320 aircraft with serial number 4R - ABS to add to its fleet, this week.

4R- EXR is still flying with UL. Any idea on how long till she is returned to FITSAIR?
                          Will 4R-ABS replace her?
