From what the CEO has said the second one will be added next year. The rest will depend on the market.

I've read that there's already a contract in place - EU operator (no names yet). Contract to start in August.

Nice! this is the same aircraft been to Farnborough airshow right? Did this aircraft was parked in Farnborough or went back to Everett after the airshow. I was under the impression this aircraft is going to be delivered to Dhaka just after the Farnborough airshow. It would be waste of fuel if it operate Everett to Farnborough to Everett to Dhaka.

It was flown back to Everett after the Farnborough airshow. Delivery flight was non-stop from Everett to Dhaka.

Ah okay! May be Boeing was testing and wanted to handover this aircraft to Biman at Everett. Do you have any pictures of this aircraft ' cabin? I have heard biman is increasing flights to London. I'm wondering how many Biman flights are currently operating to London.

Biman is set to increase flights to London by the end of this year after taking delivery of its second Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner in November, said a senior official of the state-run carrier.

The airline wants to operate six weekly flights to London, up from four at present, said Shakil Meraj, Biman's spokesperson, ahead of taking delivery of the aircraft from Boeing.

British Airways axes entire Hong Kong crew ahead of closure of base in city next month

British Airways axed its entire Hong Kong crew on Wednesday ahead of the closure of its local base next month, the airline’s head office has confirmed.

Unionists said 57 of the 85 Hong Kong-based flight attendants were laid off immediately, with another 24 to finish at the end of next month when their contracts expired. They slammed the move as “inhumane” and “ugly”.

Britain’s national airline, which has been flying to the city for 82 years, said it would close its Hong Kong cabin crew base at the end of October. The carrier operates two daily flights from Hong Kong to London Heathrow.
