Not UL but Cyprus Airways flew on Larnaca and Colombo via Dubai in 2003 onboard A320. Unfortunately the service was lasted for few months only. Wish if they resume Colombo.
2003 Flight Schedule : On Wednesdays, flight CY 396 arrival at Colombo at 07:45 and departure 08:45 local time. On Saturdays, flight CY 396 arrival at Colombo at 19.45 and departure at 20:45 local time.

i believe the runway and the main taxiway needs a few more modifications to accommodate regular A380 flightsComment

Flightradar24
Guys, i know you all are aware on this matter, but just wanted to explore this a bit.
flightradar 24 (flightradar24.com) provides online flight tracking on google map. it is really a exciting service for flight lovers like us (of course there are few such servers planefinder etc)
there was no SRILANKAN air ports in this site previously, however now BIA has been included, so you can see flight coming/going to BIA. also flights over SL sky.

so my point is we still to add HRIA in to this, ofcourse we can add other air ports (palali, Trinco, Koggala etc) but we need to install ADS-B receiver on each of these places and connected to flightradar server. so that we can add our all air ports to this. on the other hand this will improve coverage over SL sky.

flightradar24 is under spot line once again along with missing air craft MH370.. see below image which shows the last image that flightradar24 captured from missing flight MH370
