Hey Banu as per Shanaka : the first flight was on Monday 5 Jan. SV783. I wanted to use SV from CAI to CMB but didnt book as SV was a high density B772 later was kicking my self as if I did. CAI-JED and JED-CMB were both B747-400 (Changed from B772 and B772)

                    Hey all!
So I've just posted another video trip report, this features 9W256, the red eye flight from Colombo to Mumbai. It also includes footage from the new Mumbai terminal 2.
I will cover 9W251/252 later in July.
I hope you enjoy the experience https://youtu.be/yE_Wkg-C5uA

                    Regards
                    Jish

A rare occurrence, A B200 landing in SIN

All smaller aircraft are directed to Seletar Base, except Exec jets using the Jet Quay VIP clearance, used by the Casino Jets and the Private Jets

SQ's 9V-SQI was ferried to Victoriaville for Storage on the 23/02/2015 ? Does this mean SQ has started retiring the B777-200 fleet?
Another B772 has left the SQ fleet as 9V-SVK (28520) flew SIN-VCV for storage on the 16/03/2015. If i am not mistaken SQ is currently using their B772 to routes like Johannesburg, Male, Manila, Bengaluru..

SQ had a staggering number of B777-200ER (derated) and B777-200ER. The B777-200ER were back bone of Long Haul routes where B747-400 were too large for demand. The B777-200ER long haul routes includes/included, SIN-AMS-ORD, SIN-MAN, SIN-AMS, SIN-CPH, SIN-FCO, SIN-JNB-CPT, SIN-ICN-YVR, SIN-TPE-LAX. Some of which have now been taken over by B777-300ER. Where as the B777-200ER (derated) short haul/medium are now A330-300. SQ seem quite happy and have 31 frames in service.

In my opinion UL should use a fairly new aircraft for LHR route. 503/504 is fairly full most of the time and I have seen lots of negative comments from passengers in Skytrax about the condition of the aircraft.
