What makes you think TU-TAB is grounded ? I think this aircraft is under utilised, only operating on behalf of SriLankan Airlines cargo to Chennai (Sa), Bangalore (Tu.Th.Sa) in India. Schedule : http://www.srilankancargo.com/genera...led-operationsComment

Cinnamon Air 4R-CAE
IATA code???

source:skyliner-aviation
cinnamon air is a domestic airline based in bandaranaike international airport, colombo. It is set to begin flights to domestic destinations in sri lanka. The start-up fleet will consist of two cessna 208 aircraft (seating nine passengers each) and one wheeled cessna 208b grand caravan (seating 12 passengers) that would provide the flexibility for the airline to operate from any of the domestic and international airports as well as from waterdromes in sri lanka. So I wonder who they have flying these rigs? Ex-Maldives guys?
Are they presently in Sri Lankan registry?
Big PITA to convert ICAO license to Sri Lankan?
I just got a Panamanian license conversion from Canadian and had to take an air regs exam ........................ IN SPANISH! Problem was, I don't speak Spanish, though passed anyway with a little help from the examination giver (access to Google translate).

There are a lot of Amphib Cessnas in other parts of the world, where there is no prolonged over-water use, including Philippines (seen a few there .. )
For the license part, may I ask in what context ?Last edited by ecureilx; 06-03-2013, 03:34 AM.Comment

Oh, for the others, here's some stuff
Seen in KUL
On a Sunday, it was a UL 330

And on a Tuesday, it was a UL 320, in the gate with another all "Bus" operator (MI - moving to Boeing)

And 4R-ABO, taxiing to the active, for departure - the stands you see in the background are part of the Sepang F1 Circuit

Air Asia's first (and Asia's first) Sharklet kitted A320 Bus 9M-AQQ

Another view of AQQ

SQ 345, possibly having completed an Engine Change in the Tarmac !!! (the SIA Engineering and the Satsco pans were full of NW / BA / and other metal .. ) - you can see the tail of ACBN on the port side of the 345
