    It looks like within a span of 7s, the aircraft dropped 925ft and 37kts., which indicates rates of -7,928.57fpm(!) and 5.28kt/s2 or -9.79km/s2
    not sure because FR24 isn't very accurate closer to the ground.
    you're free to correct if I'm wrong
    Yeah, it was a really hard landing. It was like being slapped really hard on the floor. Crazy! But I don't think these numbers are accurate because these are a bit extreme, as it looks like, isn't it?

    But as it looks like my guess was correct. They must have landed halfway through the runway to have such numbers. Also, it wasn't flared at all. My next flight was a SriLankan and the flare was pretty visible and the landing was butter smooth.

      I looked up the elevation of the DEL airstrip. It says 777ft. So could it be like the actual altitude difference is 925-777 = 148ft? 148ft in 7s means -1268 fpm. Could be true, I suppose. Still a big number.

                        • flight MU232 that departed last night also followed a rather unusual filght path, departing from rwy 22(as opposed to rwy 04). I know of this because I heard some aircraft noise that was louder(than I've used to before) over our house. is this also due to the conditions last night?
                          flight path if anyone's interested;
                          edit: this was at about 20:30(+5.30)

                            maybe for aircraft maintenance/inspection? or clogged loo's(if you know what i'm saying) because I didn't find any information on any incidents around it.
                            and then though, does AI do maintenance at LHR?
