    Qatar Airways rushes team to discuss partnership with UL

    A high powered delegation from Qatar Airways is expected in Colombo next week for talks with SriLankan Airlines and explore possibilities of a joint partnership arrangement. The move follows talks President Maithripala Sirisena held with Qatari leader Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani during a two-day state visit to Doha this week. The President had appealed to the Emir to give his request urgent consideration.

    As a result, Qatar is rushing a top level delegation from its national airline. President Sirisena is learnt to have telephoned State Enterprise Development Minister Kabir Hashim in Colombo and asked him to be prepared to receive the delegation. He had also told Minister Hashim that he should ensure SriLankan Airlines is ready for talks on a partnership agreement.

        I very much doubt this is the case. Looks like more Sri Lanka 'Big Talk' imho.

            It seems Indigo will be starting daily DEL/BOM/BLR-CMB soon. Schedules have been published in airport.lk. Date of commencement is yet to be known

            6E1437 BLR2040 - 2140CMB 320
            6E1438 CMB2240 - 0005+1BLR 320

            Arrival from BOM is 2215 and departure to DEL is 2315. The pair of arr/dep is not available in the website.

                    Any Idea.. which flights will be connecting flights to UL604 CMB-MEL
                    I thought LHR-CMB will be one... but it is not...

                                Though equipment is dissimilar I suspect it's code Share.

                                                So service your own customers and claim a profit !!!!

                                                And the 6.30 ...

                                                FFS, why can't the get rid of Mihin, merge, or do something, and do the two class service most airlines in the region are offering, example, Y class with full service, and Y class with no frills ....

                                                    Did Suren get his 10 Million Bonus for failing to do anything whatsoever?

                                                        For the third day also UL604 operates by A333, Earlier they said that only the inaugural flight will be operate by A333 and rest of the flights by A332. Right?? Any thoughts about this?

                                                            From what I understand, it will be A333 for the full inaugural week, and then will switch to A332
