Looking forward to see more photos.

Thank you for the warm welcome, @USAmbSLM. I’m excited to be here in Colombo. I’m proud of the work @USEmbSL does to strengthen our ties with the government, businesses, and people of Sri Lanka and look forward to expanding on those efforts during my visit. #USwithSL

SriLankan Airlines A330 P2F 4R-ALS is visiting Hanoi Noi Bai Airport (HAN) as UL 1422 today. Probably UL's first visit to HAN.

Thanks for the update. But flight UL1422 is normally used for ferry and delivery flight? Is 4R-ALS flying cargo flight to Hanoi?
Did SriLankan Cargo used to fly Hanoi in the past onboard Fitsair's MD80F. It was a once a week cargo flight ? I remember saw some where in this forum few years ago.Comment

I cannot be so sure about such flight numbers being fixed for certain purposes. Because as I remember, 4R-ALD was ferried to St. Athan under the flight number UL 1205, but in the past few months I remember seeing flights to Europe under the same flight number. The one-off flight to Hamburg happened under UL 1205. And as of UL 1422, the repatriation flight to Wuhan happened under UL 1422 back in January.

Since ALS is being used, I assume this is a cargo operation and she is set to leave HAN at 1815 Vietnam Time.Last edited by AviatorSN; 31-10-2020, 09:41 AM.Comment
