Thai Air Asia resumed flights from Bangkok to Colombo.

Thai Air Asia resumed operations on its popular Bangkok (Don Mueang) to Colombo route today, July 9, 2023. The new service to the capital of Sri Lanka operates four times a week.
Resuming its operations, the first flight arrived at BIA at 22.00 hrs yesterday with 134 arriving passengers. The passengers were warmly welcomed at BIA upon their arrival with a traditional Kandyan dancing performance and Sri Lanka Tea Board Ceylon tea gift packs.

Cinnamon Air launches scheduled flights to Jaffna from Colombo BIA

Cinnamon Air recently announced the launch of scheduled flights to Jaffna, which will provide travellers with easy access to transport to the most popular city in the northern region of the island along with an exceptional travel experience.
Scheduled flights to Jaffna commenced on 16th June 2023, with weekly departures from Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) and Sigiriya Airport to Jaffna International Airport every Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.
At the same time, Cinnamon Air will resume daily scheduled flights to Trincomalee and Batticaloa from BIA.

One of the Pilots known to me told Qatar Airways has requested 7 flights a day.. (i.e. adding 2 more flights to their 5 flights a day now!)..
but SL officials have turned down that request
