Fitsair's 4R-EXS has been wet leased to Saudi's FlyAdeal. I can see its operating flyadeal flights between RUH and JED.

Any idea why FitsAir failed to utilise EXS on their routes?

My guess would be not enough passengers on their flights. Some one please correct me. I wonder why Fitsair didn't wetlease 4R-EXQ which has been parked at CMB for ages.

Taken from UL FB page. EXQ is finally sporting the FitsAir livery. Does this mean EXQ will be put to service in the near future?

Seems like EXS has been leased to Flyadeal to cater to Hajj Flights

EXQ is presently at the 747 hangar for paintwork with the FitsAir livery… assuming that it will be re-entering to service soon

EXS would probably be painted on return form Flyadeal

SriLankan Airlines to increase fleet to 20 in July

                    Monday June 26, 2023 5:49 am

ECONOMYNEXT – State-run SriLankan Airlines said its operating will fleet will go up to 20 aircraft in July 2023, from the 15 it had been managing with over the last two months.

SriLankan had intended to operate with 18 aircraft but scheduled maintenance (C-checks) on two aircraft were taking longer than expected to due to the difficulty in getting spare part, the airline said in a statement.

Several Airbus A320NEO aircraft were also grounded due to a shortage of the engines worldwide.

The two aircraft going through C-checks would return to operational duty from next week.

Does any one know the aircraft registration going to return to fleet in coming weeks?

Issue with retracting the landing gear. Was holding for about 2hrs as ac type is a333, which has no capability in dumping fuel. ALR is safely down now.
