    Singapore Airlines in Northern summer 2023 season is adjusting operational aircraft to Sri Lanka, as the airline schedules Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner on Singapore – Colombo route, effective 26MAR23. The 337-seater will replace 303-seater Airbus A350-900XWB aircraft.

    The airline intends to return to daily service during Northern winter 2023/24 season, effective 29OCT23.

          • Fitsair will increase their frequency to Dubai to daily flights from next month.

            FitsAir, Sri Lanka’s first privately owned international airline will increase their frequency to Dubai to daily flights from next month. The airline currently operates four flights per week to Dubai from their A320 aircraft. The airline which also operates flights to Maldives introduced flights to Chennai from February 20. The frequency is three times a week and this will be upgraded to a daily service in April, said Ammar Kassim, Executive Director, FitsAir.

                According to Airfleet.com 4R-EXQ parked since Aug-22.

                      Several new Indian airlines are ready to operate flights to Jaffna from new destinations, said Consul General of India in Jaffna Raakesh Nattaj on the sidelines of the 13th Edition of the Jaffna International Trade Fair which began at the Muttraweli Grounds, adjoining the Jaffna Fort.The event is organised by Lanka Exhibition and Conference Services (Pvt) Ltd (LECS), in association with the Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Yarlpanam (CCIY).It concludes today, March 5.He said that Alliance Air operates four flights per week to Jaffna from Chennai and all the flights are full.

                          Vistara looking to increase Mumbai-Colombo flights to Daily and Air India looking to increase Delhi-Colombo flights to Daily from end of Mar-23. Singapore Airlines is planning Daily flights to Colombo onboard B787-10 from end of Oct-23.

                          I heard Cathay Pacific is planning to resume passenger flights to Colombo from 30-Oct-23. Some one please confirm.

                            How Fitsair is doing on CMB-MAA route?

                            I can see Fitsair flying Daily to DXB from 28-Mar. Seems MLE & MAA frequency remains the same as 3/4 weekly. Please confirm.
