        Hi all,
Discussions are on going with SL authorities and Azur Air to begin flights to SL for the upcoming winter season, Azur Air to operate seasonal flights from November onwards to CMB but there are some rumours that they will be operating to HRI instead, this will be the first time in a long time a new carrier will be coming to HRI.

Thanks, someone please update with more info if possible, source from Aviation Voice.

          Hi Banu,

Previously Planespotter.net mentioned it as NTU = Not Taken Up, But now it Shows as Due , which means
VP-CRP >>>>> 4R-ALU , excited to see her in UL colours.

RWZ also operating to SL in nov.
so it's not sure what AZV would do considering RWZ normally operates to HRI.(both flights are from russia to SL as I remember last year.)

                      Possibly for maintenance?

That's good news that UL will be increasing LHR frequency to 9 flights a week in the Winter. I assume the previous slots will be used - early morning arrival and mid morning departure - which would ideal for connections to and from North America.

I hope UL will resume CMB-PEK service soon. Hopefully after adding next A330
Currently there is no direct connection between Colombo and Beijing.
