              There are some unconfirmed reports says Vietnam Airlines considering to launch direct flights to Sri Lanka.

              Vietnam President Truong Tan Sang expected to visit Sri Lanka with a high level delegation of Vietnamese businessmen, including officials of Vietnam Airlines.

                  You should tweet them and ask. They now have an active Twitter account @flysrilankan. Im assuming the new CEO mustve implemented this since it only looks like a new account.

                      Ah finally some decent pics of Sri Lankan Airlines new business cabin.




                      HOWEVER, i found out these were from one of the planes which were brought from CX. Notice the similarities?

                          This isn't the new Business class. This is the cabin of 4R-ADG of which it is the only aircraft having this cabin.

                              I hope they select 777-200ERs to replace the A340-300s. The older A330s can be replaced by newer ones if they are in a rush, or better still with 787s but these will take another 6 years, given Boeing's order book...
