Looks like the inaugural CMB-CCU flight will be done by the A319... So much for the A321! :/

It seems to be Mihin didn't sell much tickets on Kolkota flight. I am curious to know the number of passengers were on board? Issue is Mihin's Kolkota flight is targeting Gulf passengers not the far east.

Total revenue of Sri Lankan Air lines has increased by 9.8 percent in the first quarter of 2015, the state statistics office said.

“Passenger kilometers flown and total revenue of Sri Lankan Air lines has increased by 7.7 percent and 9.8 percent respectively in the first quarter of 2015,” the Department of Census and Statistics said.

In 2014, total revenue increased 5.4 percent to 115.5 billion rupees compared to a 4.6 per cent increase in operating expenditure to 144.4 billion rupees, data from the Central Bank annual report show.

However the airline continued to record an operating loss of 29.0 billion rupees in 2014 compared to 28.6 billion rupees loss recorded in 2013.

SriLankan last made profits in 2008, and has been racking up losses since a management deal with Dubai-based Emirates ended.

Over the past five years both Sri Lankan and Mihin made operational losses of 89.9 billion rupees, according to Central Bank data.

All four A332's (4R-ALA/B/C/D) have been fitted with the new light weight seats. This was mentioned here in this forum a while back. The airline completed the entire refurbishment back in April this year if Im not mistaken.
