I'm very much surprised QR didn't codeshare on CMB-TRZ flight. SL Gov recommends changes to the management of SriLankan Airlines. Mihin Lanka expect to close around 31-October 2016. 297 Mihin Lanka staff to loose jobsUL is not a business - it's a Racket. The Racketeers are busily padding their bank accounts at the expense of the people of Sri Lanka. When it all falls apart they will run away overseas with their ill-gotten gains.
18 months of new government and not a single indictment - Sri Lanka is truely a Failed State.

Absolutely no way any A350 is coming imho.
Nothing about who gets saddled with the $$ Billions in debts and forward liabilities.

Yes. it's true. There are no UL direct flights to CDG & FRA from W16. Is UL going to sell the slots at CDG & FRA? So LHR is the only European Gateway for UL.Comment

Rumour has UL already sub-leased the first A350 (MSN52) to other operator. It makes sense Airbus has now painted the MSN52 all in white. UL now negotiating on sub-leasing the other three A350 (MSN55/60/171).
Another rumour : 3 x A330-200s (ALA,ALB,ALC) are going to retire from UL fleet beginning of 2017 and they are planning sub-lease 3 x A330-300s (ALL,ALM,ALN) to other operator.
Even if they take the delivery of MSN55 & MSN60 this year they can't continue CDG & FRA with only 9 Widebody Fleet. 3 x A330-200s (ALD,ALH,ALJ) and 4 x A330-300s (ALO,ALP,ALQ,ALR) are going remain in the UL fleet. Before It was expected the delivery of MSN171 to UL in end of 2017.Comment
