It looks like ABL was away from the service for temp maintenance. Good to see her back in service But any idea why ABL was diverted back to CMB after take off at CMB?

Any update of painting UL A320 in Air Ceylon livery for anniversary celebrations?

I can notice that "Reply to Quote" button isn't working properly on our forum. It works only when click for the second time. I will go through this with Vbulletin and sort this out. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. If there is any other issues. Please do post on the below thread.

Just a guess - but that looks like a Non ETOPS routing to remain within 60 minutes of a suitable airport.

Yes, I can notice that Kingdom Holding's B747-4J6 (HZ-WBT7) arrived at CMB from RUH to transport HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. It seems Saudia Arabia seeking investment opportunities in Sri Lanka as per this video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43JJ3sdUpFQ

Normally in SL it takes 1 to 2 weeks for preparing the new aircraft before the 1st revenue flight. Rumour has ANC will be entering the 1st revenue flight on 12th July onwards.

4R-ANC (msn 7663) has been leased from Aercap for 12 years period.

Just what they need - another 12 year lease at above market rates without a termination clause!

Total order is 6 A320 Neo and 4 A321 Neo leased from Aercap and Air Lease Corporation.

Looks like another corrupt deal needs to be investigated. This is a financial disaster!
