There are 3 white-tail A350 sitting in Toulouse (the 4th was never built). This is a huge embarrassment for airbus. I doubt UL can expect any favours from airbus.
If the remaining 4 A350 were ordered on a contract without a termination clause - then there's no option but to pay! ($800 Million according to the papers plus whatever deposits have been paid).
Aercap is also having to pay for the parked A350 - a declining asset value with no revenue so far. They will also not be doing UL any favours.
Any talk of "re-structuring" or PPP is nothing more than a fantasy by people who cannot conceive of a shut down.
