ETOPS only required when flying for more than 60 minutes flying time away from the nearest airport suitable for emergency landing. ME and Indian destinations do not require ETOPS.

Looks like ETOPS on all of UL's NEO fleet is affected. The most recent flights for 4R-ANB, ANC and AND were taking similar route to ANE while 4R-ANA has not done a flight over the Bay of Bengal over the past couple of days.

Yes bro. Even today's UL404/405 flew over land to BKK. My father was operating this flight today, but it is also a disadvantage for the passengers and crew too, because the route is quite longer than usual = more time flying to and from BKK.Looks like ETOPS on all of UL's NEO fleet is affected. QR is scheduled to receive their 1st A350-1000 sometime this month, any chances of seeing one of them in CMB sometime this year considering the fact that Airbus advertise it as the replacement for A346 and QR probably will start retiring their A346s with the arrival of the A35K? They have already upgraded the DOH-MLE sector to A359 from the previous A333 service.Comment

My guess would be QR might replace the existing A346 services with B773. A350-1000 might be used for Europe, Australia, Americas and Far East. Yield on the pax traffic to CMB still lower than MLE.QR is scheduled to receive their 1st A350-1000 sometime this month, any chances of seeing one of them in CMB sometime this year considering the fact that Airbus advertise it as the replacement for A346 and QR probably will start retiring their A346s with the arrival of the A35K? A friend flew on AI to MAA last evening on their Airbus A321.
Their overall service, quite particularly their food was outstanding even though they serve Veg. The crew was very good too and with the aircraft too being well maintained, which was pretty surprising in contrast to all the other reviews (mostly negative) about AI
Load factor was 100% on Y Class
Good to see AI doing well even on its other rotations from CMB to BOM and VNS.
Sadly 9W pulled out from the BLR-CMB sector due to IndiGo being way too much for them to handle
Has anyone here flown with Air India?- Aaqib Hussain

PRATT & WHITNEY ENGINE ISSUES CONTINUE TO PLAGUE A320NEO CUSTOMERS
I wonder whether it is a common issue for both manufacturers?Comment

While both engine types are having teething problems, I don't think the issues themselves are common across the types based on the article below although and I believe PW has had the bigger chunk of problems compared to CFM LEAP.ok so, problems with CFM Leap engine??
