It looks like 4R-ALR still grounded at COK. There was a severe wind yesterday in South India and may be that caused this incident.

Were there any severe damages on 4R-ABM ? When it's expected to fly again ?

As far as I heard the costs are in a few millions. It was released today from the hangar but I’m not sure when it’ll start to fly. Few dents and scratches were visible

Turkish Airlines Cargo increases Colombo Flights

Turkish Airlines Cargo have increased the operational frequencies to Colombo from May 2018, from one weekly to twice weekly. Previously Turkish Airlines Cargo served Istanbul-Chennai-Colombo-Istanbul, but from May 2018 Turkish Airlines Cargo have added additional route on Istanbul-Karachi-Colombo-Istanbul. Freighter Schedule are below. Both the services are being operated by Airbus A330-200F.

It appears to be Turkish Airlines Cargo is filling the gap of Karachi-Colombo route in the absence of dedicated freighter service by SriLankan Airlines Cargo. Wetleased MD82F which was operating the SriLankan Cargo flights was returned to the lessor few months ago.

          Turkish Airlines Cargo Freighter Schedule

          SUN - IST-CMB - TK6550 - A33F - 12:45 - 01:20+1 - VIA KHI
          WED - IST-CMB - TK6548 - A33F - 06:20 - 20:20+0 - VIA MAA

          MON - CMB-IST - TK6550 - A33F - 03:20 - 09:25+0 - NONSTOP
          WED - CMB-IST - TK6548 - A33F - 22:20 - 04:25+1 - NONSTOP

Does that mean premium passenger traffic have increased to Sri Lanka? Do you know the seat configuration for LATAM A350 which is operating under Qatar Airways?

4R-ABM also back in service since this morning, so I assume the damage was not so bad.

Good to know that we'd be finally having a couple of Boeing Aircraft based at CMB

                                Hi Skyliner,

FitsAir supposed to take delivery of ATR42 (MSN 317/4R-EXN) in Late May 2018. Any update?
