      IXM - CMB 12.30 -13.45

      CMB - IXM 14.20 - 15.20

CMB - IXM timing is similar to Mihin timing.

This is the very happiest moment in IXM History.................

EFB really is the innovation here, and if UL simply calls them pioneers for using an iPad as the delivery medium, that is a bit childish (and frankly a little pathetic).

This service is disputed by some as having been operated by BOAC for SAA.

Sept 03, 2012 (LBO) – India's Mahindra group is targeting Sri Lanka with its range of small passenger aircraft which can boost domestic and short range air travel between neighboring destinations including the Maldives, a top executive said.

In my opinion Sri Lanka should get some ATRs or Q400s to operate a regional service from RML which has re-gained the International Airport status recently. I am not sure if 5 to 10 seater airvan will do a good job for regional-international service out of Sri Lanka ?

I came to know one will remain in operation for another 6- 9 months and the other will be returned by end of Aug 2012. However I cannot see any official announcement from UL side and timetable for Air Taxi remain unchanged.
Just spotted , Airtaxi timings have been updated on SriLankan Airlines Website. It looks like one of the DHC6 has left the UL fleet.

Sri Lankan Ambassador to the US, Jaliya Wickramasuriya in an interview with the Sunday Observer.

Q: We keep reading about the sale of Boeing aircraft to Sri Lankan Airlines. How is this sort of trade developing?

A: It is my understanding that Boeing and Sri Lankan Airlines are negotiating the terms of some Boeing 777s, and negotiations are progressing.
