Many such approvals have been given. We don't know if they are going to be additional approvals but it is more likely to be such.

Flights are still in early stages, but new schedule for MAA - TRZ looks to have some connection with CMB from TRZ. Lets wait to know.

Except PEK, most of these nonstop services are to be operated with existing China flights on Round Robin Route e.g. CMB-PEK-BKK-CMB, CMB-BKK-CAN-CMB...

@ Sakith - Why UL has downgraded the PVG and PEK flights from Daily to 5 Weekly ? Do they plans to restore that daily frequency ?

@ Azamh - Any news when UL starts on schedule nonstop services to Hong Kong / China ?

We have been wondering why Bhubaneswar was not given International flights even after the airport's catchment has so much of tourism around, I am unaware of the SL Trade connection with CMB, the airport has been showing so much of Domestic traffic.

A really potential airport that was denied International activity so many years.

Looks like BBI is busy enough to get international flights, but it's crystal clear to me that there is absolutely no demand between CMB and BBI

and BTW SSCMK, any idea how MJ and SG doing in IXM?

AirlineRoute.net reports that RJ is operating an Airbus A330-200 aircraft on Amman – Colombo route, replacing A310/340, which I think is a great move.

Also, Cinnamon Air is to open reservation for domestic service from Feb 2013. The airlines plans to operate to 9 destinations including Kandy, Hambanthota and Koggala.

Cinnamon Air's website is back up after being down for a long time.
