I think VH-FNP landed at HRI for tech stop to give rest for the crew. I can see the aircraft departed from HRI and now flying to unknown destination.

srilankan airlines history making flight from freetown to colombo directly. the ul 1710 (4r-alo) is flying a distance of 10230km spending almost 13hrs. i think this could be the longest distance ever flown by srilankan airlines

I wonder if this is a charter. According to Wamosair website , there are no Wamon schedule flights to CMB.

I can see in planespotters.net, most of wamos air aircrafts are preighters. Just like 4r-als. Removing seats of the passenger cabin which enables to carry additional cargo capacity on the aircraft. I also think this is a charter cargo service from germany.

LOT didn't fly as previously noticed, and also Aeroflot doesn't fly. Why in the heck every European carriers ignore Sri Lanka and look only at Maldives and India?

Wondering why doesn't FR24 show this flight in CMB airport routes. Also Aeroflot Moscow route isn't displayed.

" Being an island nation, Sri Lanka’s national airline has an international focus. SriLankan Airlines’ destinations range across the Asia-Pacific region, Europe, and the Middle East. But despite the airline casting its eye over a range of new planes, it has no interest in acquiring any of the new generation long-range narrowbody aircraft to fly these routes."

According to Skyliners, A320 (msn5310) has been ferried to Colombo Airport on the 14-Apr. Is it visiting CMB for technical stop?
