SriLankan A332 4R-ALB didn't fly since 06-Mar-23? As per FR24, it diverted to HRI on the 06-Mar. Notsure what happened to the aircraft.

New Flight : Air Seychelles is going to commence Colombo flights from 20 June 2023. Operating twice a week. Any idea which aircraft will be used on this route? SriLankan used to fly Seychelles. Any chance SriLankan will codeshare with Air Seychelles?Comment

They'll probably use 320neos because they send their 320neos for maintenance most of the time. Nice to see them make an appearance here as passenger then.Comment

Air Seychelles is going to connect Colombo with nonstop flight. Doesn’t this route have enough demand for passenger and cargo for nonstop flight? How did SriLankan perform with Seychelles route before termination?

Air Seychelles to fly to Colombo, Sri Lanka
Air Seychelles is pleased to announce that it will add service from its home base of Mahe, Seychelles to Colombo, Sri Lanka with twice weekly flights commencing in June. The inaugural flight will depart Mahe on 20 June 2023 at 22:05 arriving into Colombo four hours later. The flights will be served by the airline’s Airbus A320 Neo aircraft in a 12 business class and 156 economy class configuration. Air Seychelles’ Chief Commercial Officer, Charles Johnson explains, “We’re very excited about this opportunity to link Seychelles with Sri Lanka. A destination in its own right with excellent tourist, medical and trading opportunities which all Seychellois will benefit from. In addition, our upcoming partnership with Sri Lankan Airlines will allow travelers to purchase a single ticket for travel beyond Colombo to other destinations in Asia. This service will drastically reduce current travel times and at prices much lower than currently seen in the market.” The Colombo service will also offer over 20+ connections through a future partnership with Sri Lankan Airlines. Once fully implemented, this will allow for a convenient one-stop connection to numerous destinations in India, Bangladesh, and top tourist spots such as Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Tokyo as well as highly requested Australian cities namely Melbourne and Sydney. Sandy Benoiton, Acting Chief Executive Officer remarks “This new destination will reinforce our regional service and provide enhanced connectivity to the south-east asia region and beyond. This is a high potential market and we look forward to see what lies ahead”. To celebrate the launch of the new flights, the national carrier is offering a special web promotion from SCR 6,800 until 25 April 2023, for travel from 20 June to 30 September 2023. Seats are limited and subject to availability.

They don't look like so. Look at the covers on windshields and engines. These are indeed grounded (status: parked). UL CEO has confirmed 3 of them but in reality, there are 5 that are parked.Comment
