So? UL ceased ops to Beijin andAir China increases flights to cmb, looks like UL is afraid of direct competition with Chinese market 🧐

Beijing to Srilanka not much of business it’s only a capital city and more tourist oriented therefore, UL868 load factor is quit bad I think they will up to 40% on a 332

Might code share with Cinnamon Air (CMB- SIG - JAF - CMB)

Current operators to/ from JAF :
                          International: Alliance Air (ATR 72)
Domestic. :Cinnamon Air (C208B) and DP Aviation (C208B).
SriLankan Airlines is planning to lease A319 to fly direct flights to Jaffna. Is this good move?

UL had Ex-Mihin Lanka A319 for a while as far as I know, but it was phased out. At this point with their expansion plans they really need more A320/A330’s as they can lease. Otherwise, flight operation efficiency may decrease, with unforeseen Flight cancellation/delays

                                A319 would be ideal!
It should be utilized on CMB-JAF-MAA sectors

                                TRZ is also another option
