Hey banu, I believe these are the airframes that are gonna be coming to UL?, Others are either scrapped, preserved or old as far as I am aware, Please correct me if I am wrong. Most of these birds are 11 years old. There are other birds that thai has but there are above 14 years old, so i doubt UL will pick them up. All of these are under Aergo Capital by the way.
A330-300s (MSN 1060) (MSN 1086) (MSN 1074) (MSN 1037)
2 of these 4 A330-300s may come to UL.
I am unaware of the a330-200s that are coming to UL, but i do know it will be leased under ORIX aviation as far as I am aware. And I believe thai never really operated A330-200s? please someone confirm? cause I haven't been able to find any information regarding them operating a330-200s.Last edited by WizzWaveSien; 31-08-2024, 07:01 AM.Sien (KR/SL/US)

What is the MTOW of these A330's? 233T or 238T? We did have issues operating to LHR year round with ALL/M/N.Comment

Yeah, I agree, good news as of now.
Honestly, it really depends, older versions of A330-300 that Thai operates have been configured for a MTOW of 233T, but newer ones have been configured for a 238T. I am not really sure about it, but hopefully its 238T.Sien (KR/SL/US)

Seems like Air India is going to continue 787 Dreamliner services into September I believe from both MAA and DEL. Can't wait to see the Dreamliner back at CMB.

Hi, any updates on upcoming 330s' cabin interiors, seat configurations? Is UL going to refit or use with Thai Cabins?

Which routes the upcoming ex-Thai A330s will fly for UL?
What plans UL got for replacing A330-343s going to be leaving from 2026/27? UL needs suitable long haul widebody aircraft to serve LHR, CDG, SYD, MEL, FRA & NRT.Comment

Hello MAW,
No idea honestly, but I think UL will retrofit them with UL cabins since its going to replace aircraft that are gonna be leaving the fleet, so it makes sense for UL to retrofit them. Or UL could be taking a 180 and instead be keeping the original cabins just like 4R-ABS and 4R-ABT. However they won't be doing that for widebodies I believe. Take this information with a grain of salt.Sien (KR/SL/US)

Let us know when you got any news on cabin interiors of upcoming planes, specially Business class seats, model and make, IFE, and cabin configurations.

Yes, 8D is making losses PURPOSEFULLY, as a strategy. Aim is not to fly here n there, but for make a good network, just like MLE DAC DXB MAA. To maintain such routes even under lower bookloads, need to stay calm under losses.Comment

Hey Banu,
Probably they will serve European routes like CMB-CDG and CMB-FRA while probably excluding LHR. UL is also planning to ditch the triangular routing for the CMB-CDG-FRA in 2025. This is evident by the fact that UL has scheduled singular routing flights for FRA and CDG respectively like previously when UL leased Air Belgium aircraft. I'm not really sure about this, however since Banu posted the timetables, I am pretty sure of it. Please take this info with a grain of salt as nothing has been confirmed yet. All of these are speculations and I'm just making educated guesses based on the current information we have.
