Dear Flight Spotters,
This is to keep you updated on the special low altitude flypast with our newly inducted Airbus A330-200 aircraft (Registration: 4R-ALT) scheduled for Wednesday, 04th June 2025, between 0800 Hrs and 0900 Hrs.
As part of this celebratory flight, the aircraft will conduct a low level flypast at approximately 500 ft along the Colombo shoreline, visible to the public from the southern end of Port City up to the Moratuwa area. After reaching the Moratuwa end, the aircraft will turn and follow the same route back towards Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB).
Before landing the Aircraft, the crew will perform an additional flypast over Katunayake Airport, entering the airfield from the lagoon side (RWY 04 end) and exiting over RWY 22 end.
