            Rumors say that HRI will be stop its operations for 2 months?? Is that true? Can anyone confirm this??

                I highly doubt that flights have been cancelled, perhaps they are not loaded?

                    As far as i know, airport-runway at CMB going to go under maintenance in Jan-Mar 2014. Not sure why do they have to close HRI though.

                                                        That surprises me. Even with the security concerns and all, the CMB-MAA route is one of the busiest routes that both airports have. According to Wikipedia, in a given year, it is the most traveled route to any destination from Chennai. Sri Lankan has multiple flights a day, and Jet Airways flight is in the middle of the night. Maybe people just didn't fly it because of the less frequency and the odd hours?

                                                            Hello Guys It is nice to see more actives in MRIA Mattala international air port to me. Also There are 2 new flights added on Sri Lankan air lines flight Schedules too. One is UL 549 CMB Zurich CMB depart on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays and another UL886 CMB/Bangkok/Portsmouth depart on mon,Tue,Thur & Satur.It looks UL start to fly Zurich again and What/Where is "Portsmouth"?. Any one have any information, please post here.
