Thank you! This was during the morning hours at around 6.10am. If you look closely at the end of the video from the right side of the cockpit you can see it take off too.

P.S. best viewed in 1080p or 720p..

Etihad 787 bound to Melbourne from Abu Dhabi making an emergency landing at KAT now. Was dumping fuel over Arugam Bay area.

Not sure. I listened to the ATC, but I couldn't get anything of the reason.

It appears to be EY B787-9 departed from CMB less than an hour after emergency landing. did you find the reason for it's visit to CMB ? but good to see B787 at CMB. Does any B787 operating a scheduled flight to CMB in Summer season? I heard SQ is planning B787-10 operation to CMB near future.

SQ would be upgrading the SIN-CMB-SIN sector to a 787-10 in the future.

As SilkAir too would be merging with its big brother Singapore Airlines after a cabin revamp, I presume SQ may either terminate SilkAir's 4 x Weekly service to CMB or else operate the sectors on Scoot since SilkAir's existing 737-800's are to be transferred to SQ's LCC
